Basketball Recap: Homewood-Flossmoor Piles Up the Points Against Joliet West

Homewood-Flossmoor won against Lincoln-Way West last Tuesday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings breezed past the Joliet West Tigers to the tune of 59-31. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Joliet West saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Gabrielle Gavin posted 21 points.

Homewood-Flossmoor has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points over those games. As for Joliet West, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-22.

As of now, neither Homewood-Flossmoor nor Joliet West have any future games scheduled.
