Roncalli proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Aberdeen Christian Knights, sneaking past 3-2. For the Cavaliers, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Roncalli had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 21-25, 25-20, 25-16, 15-9.

Roncalli's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Aberdeen Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roncalli will take on Sisseton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aberdeen Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Waubay/Summit at 7:00 p.m.
