Franklin and West Henderson are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Franklin sitting on four straight victories and West Henderson on eight.

On Monday, Franklin got the win against North Henderson by a conclusive 7-1. Considering the Panthers have won 12 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Suzanna Cabe spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on eight hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Franklin let Ashlyn McConnell and Layla Maloy run wild. McConnell got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base, while Maloy went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, West Henderson's hitters rose to the challenge against a Bears pitching crew that boasted an average of only 3.31 runs allowed on Thursday. The Falcons walked away with a 10-7 win over Pisgah.

Franklin pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for West Henderson, their victory bumped their record up to 17-1.

Franklin took their win against West Henderson in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 10-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
