Jackson Prep won the last time they faced Hartfield Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Jackson Prep Patriots enjoyed a cozy 37-23 win over the Hartfield Academy Hawks. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Hawks are ranked 96th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jackson Prep is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points per game. As for Hartfield Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.
