Football Recap: George Jenkins Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

George Jenkins and Durant squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but George Jenkins had to settle for second. They and the Cougars were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered an 8-7 defeat. The Eagles have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

George Jenkins' defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Durant, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

George Jenkins does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Durant, they will face off against Haines City at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cougars 10.3, the Hornets 5.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
