Recap: Southbridge Pioneers vs. Burncoat Patriots
On Friday, Southbridge had to suffer through a rough 72-45 loss at the hands of Burncoat. Southbridge was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-19.
Among those leading the charge was Cheyton Marshall, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Mwangi, who scored 13 points.
Southbridge now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Burncoat, the win was the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 2-0.
Southbridge will head out on the road to face off against Bartlett at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Burncoat will be home for the holidays to greet University Park at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
