Baseball Recap: Dillon Christian Comes Up Short

Dillon Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles, falling 14-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Dillon Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gray Easterling, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave Easterling a new career-high.

Dillon Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dillon Christian will head out to square off against Fairmont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pee Dee Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Loris at 6:30 p.m. on March 14th.
