Basketball Recap: Jefferson Piles Up the Points Against Lone Peak

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). They claimed a resounding 91-30 win over the Lone Peak Big Horns. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Jefferson's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josie Oxarart, who went 6 for 7 on her way to 12 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryian Eveland, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

Jefferson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in four consecutive games.

Jefferson's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.2 points. As for Lone Peak, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
