Softball Preview: Montesano Bulldogs vs. Aberdeen Bobcats        
        
		
            
 Montesano is 5-0 against Aberdeen since March of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The Montesano Bulldogs have the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome the Aberdeen Bobcats at 8:00  p.m. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Montesano: 3.5, Aberdeen: 3.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Montesano gave their fans yet another huge  win on Wednesday. They blew past Forks 16-4.
  Grace Gooding looked comfortable as she  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Carsyn Wintrip was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Riley Timmons, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Aberdeen came tearing into  Wednesday's  matchup with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Bearcats by a score of  8-4.
 Montesano's victory was  their seventh straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-3. As for Aberdeen, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record  this season.
