Ferriday had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-43 win over the Vidalia Vikings. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 62-53 loss the last time these two teams met.

Ferriday is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Vidalia, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ferriday will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Family Community Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. As for Vidalia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sterlington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
