Baseball Recap: LEE Comes Up Short

LEE was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Johnson Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Volunteers of the 12-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

LEE saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xander Pearson, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

LEE's loss dropped their record down to 4-14-1. As for Johnson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-9.

While LEE had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
