Basketball Game Preview: Providence Christian Knights vs. Community Christian Crusaders

Providence Christian and Community Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Providence Christian Knights will be playing at home against the Community Christian Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Providence Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Providence Christian is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Palm Grove Christian on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Providence Christian was dealt a 56-23 defeat at the hands of Palm Grove Christian. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-9.

Meanwhile, Community Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against New Jerusalem Christian Academy, falling 51-29. The match marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Community Christian's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5. As for Providence Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Providence Christian might still be hurting after the 58-37 loss they got from Community Christian in their previous matchup back in November of 2024.
