It was a proper cat-fight when Texas Christian faced off against School of the Woods on Thursday. The Tigers blew past the Wildcats 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in September, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 25-23.

Despite the defeat, School of the Woods saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Camila Pulido had 41 digs. Pulido is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Olivia Nettles, who had 22 digs.

The victory made it two in a row for Texas Christian and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for School of the Woods, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Coming up, Texas Christian will take on The Connection School of Houston at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for School of the Woods, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Central Christian Academy on the 10th.
