Recap: Dickson County Cougars vs. Rossview Hawks
This season hasn't been kind to the Dickson County Cougars, who are still winless after their fourth game. They took a hard 54-38 fall against Rossview on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Dickson County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 304th, while Rossview is ranked 78th).
When it comes to explaining why Dickson County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jenna Saine. Despite the final result, she scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Edmisson, who scored 8 points.
The last time Dickson County won on the road was back last Tuesday. Having now lost four straight away games, they've bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Rossview, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.
Dickson County will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Rossview, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Kenwood at 6:00 p.m. Kenwood comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
