Soccer Recap: Sandia Comes Up Short

Sandia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the La Cueva Bears. Sandia were not able to make up for their defeat to La Cueva from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Sandia's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for La Cueva, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Sandia has already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Capital on the 27th. As for La Cueva, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Eldorado on the 26th.
