Basketball Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Comes Up Short

Southeast Whitfield County lost against Hiram back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Southeast Whitfield County Raiders fell 51-40 to the Hiram Hornets.

Taylor Crawford was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards for Hiram. Crawford's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Damariah Windmon was another key player, going 7 for 17 on her way to 18 points.

Southeast Whitfield County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Hiram, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-13.

Southeast Whitfield County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hiram, they will square off against Dalton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dalton will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Hiram surely won't give up without a fight.
