Kodiak faced Redington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Bears' pitchers stepped up to hand the Huskies a 12-0 shutout. Considering the Bears have won six games by more than ten runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Kodiak is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Redington, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Looking ahead, Kodiak will challenge Homer at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Redington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
