Surry HomeSchool is 0-10 against South Charlotte since January of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Surry HomeSchool Runnin' Patriots will challenge the South Charlotte Thunder at 2:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Surry HomeSchool is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They took a blow against Greater Cabarrus S, falling 94-61. While losing is never fun, the Runnin' Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 586th, while the Stallions are ranked 198th).

Meanwhile, South Charlotte unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a 85-46 loss at the hands of Lake Norman Christian.

Surry HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 9-19. As for South Charlotte, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-15.

Surry HomeSchool came up short against South Charlotte in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 70-57. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of South Charlotte's Mason Kern, who went 9 for 13 on his way to 22 points and four blocks.
