Soccer Recap: Cheney Comes Up Short

Cheney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Mt. Spokane Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that Cheney have lost by exactly three goals.

Cheney's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mt. Spokane, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-2 record this season.

Cheney will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Medical Lake at 12:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Mt. Spokane, they are taking a road trip to face off against University at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
