            Softball Preview: Chandler Wolves vs. Casteel Colts        
        
		
        
        
            For the second straight game, Chandler will face off against Casteel. The Wolves will host the Colts  at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday.
While Chandler's  win against Casteel wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wolves narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Colts  11-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Wolves have posted  since April 3, 2024.

The dominant performance also gave  Schaffer a new career-high in  doubles (two). Another player making a difference was  Cian Noli, who  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with two  RBI and one  double.
 Casteel is  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-14. Those  losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Chandler,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 10-13.
