Softball Recap: Farmington Knights vs. Seckman Jaguars
After flying high against Kelly last Tuesday, Farmington came back down to earth. The Farmington Knights took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seckman Jaguars on Monday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Farmington's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Seckman, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-12.
Farmington will head out on the road to face off against Sikeston at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Seckman, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Webster Groves at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Seckman is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
