Pike County waltzed into their contest on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Callaway Cavaliers by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23.

Despite the defeat, Callaway saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aidyn Alford-Bailey had 12 digs and two assists.

Pike County's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Callaway, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Pike County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Callaway, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Rutland on the 4th.
