Soccer Game Preview: Westside vs. Daniel

The Westside Rams will square off against the Daniel Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

While Westside fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Monday's season opener. Their defense stepped up to hand Wade Hampton a 4-0 shutout on Monday. The score was close at the half, but the Rams pulled away in the second half with three goals.

Their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

As for Daniel, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they had a stellar season and finished 19-6.

Westside suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Daniel in their previous meeting back in April of 2019. Can Westside avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
