Providence Grove can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the East Davidson Golden Eagles. The win was just what Providence Grove needed coming off of a 12-0 loss in their prior game.

Andrew Thomas and Jayten Beasley made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Thomas struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Beasley tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (he also only allowed one walk).
