Basketball Recap: Koinonia Academy Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Koinonia Academy). They took down the Gateway Regional Gators 63-47 on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Koinonia Academy as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Koinonia Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Gateway Regional, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Koinonia Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bound Brook at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Gateway Regional, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 50-46 defeat against Cape May County Tech on the 21st.
