Soccer Recap: Grantsville Comes Up Short

Grantsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Union Cougars. Grantsville were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Union earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Grantsville's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Union, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.

Coincidentally, Grantsville and Union will both be playing Morgan the next time they take the pitch. The Cowboys will host the Trojans at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
