Recap: Northview Titans vs. Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans
The Northview Titans lost against the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Northview fell 45-35 to Greater Atlanta Christian. Northview has struggled against Greater Atlanta Christian recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Greater Atlanta Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Asia Johnson, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 18 games she's played. Cobi Obi was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Northview's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, they pushed their record up to 11-12 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Northview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, they will be playing at home against Kell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
