Softball Preview: Seckinger Jaguars vs. Gainesville Red Elephants
The Seckinger Jaguars will challenge the Gainesville Red Elephants at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Seckinger's favor as the team sits on ten straight wins at home while Gainesville has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.
Seckinger's hitters will try to repeat the strong performance they gave on Monday, when they got past Milton's usually-dominant pitching crew. Seckinger came out on top against Milton by a score of 10-5.
AnnMarie Nagy spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in five consecutive pitching appearances.
