Soccer Game Preview: Denver South vs. Rangeview

Denver South is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Thursday. They will be playing at home against the Rangeview Raiders at 6:30 p.m. Denver South's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Rangeview's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Denver South's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed two weeks ago. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Stargate School. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Denver South.

Cora Skurulsky and Haley Main scored both of Denver South's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Rangeview came up short against Smoky Hill on Tuesday, falling 6-2. Rangeview were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-2.

Rangeview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Denver South, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Denver South took their win against Rangeview in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0. Will Denver South repeat their success, or does Rangeview has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
