Volleyball Recap: Reagan Starts Season with Win Against West Stokes

Reagan gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the West Stokes Wildcats. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Reagan took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15, 25-11.

Reagan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brielynd Riddle, who had six digs and two aces. Klaire Weiss was another key player, getting three digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good server: Reagan was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Reagan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against South Stokes on the 13th. As for West Stokes, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against East Forsyth on the 13th.
