Soccer Recap: Seneca Comes Up Short

Seneca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Slippery Rock Rockets. That's two games in a row now that Seneca have lost by just one goal.

Isaac Zacks and Lucas Hoffman scored both of Seneca's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Slippery Rock, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seneca will welcome Saegertown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Slippery Rock, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against West Middlesex at 7:00 p.m.
