Softball Recap: Moorestown Wins Going Away Against Seneca

Moorestown won the last time they faced Seneca and things went their way on Friday too. The Quakers blew past the Golden Eagles 15-7. With that victory, the Quakers brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Mackenzie Seibel was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaida Rodriguez, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Moorestown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Moorestown's win bumped their record up to 6-10-1. As for Seneca, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Coincidentally, Moorestown and Seneca will both be playing Winslow Township the next time they take the field. The Quakers will host the Eagles at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, while the Golden Eagles will head out to face them at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
