Basketball Recap: Foxborough Comes Up Short

Foxborough suffered their closest defeat since December 30, 2025 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mansfield Hornets by a score of 45-42. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-50 back in January.

Foxborough's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7. As for Mansfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Foxborough is set to square off against their familiar foe North Attleborough at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mansfield will face off against rival Canton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
