Volleyball Recap: Green Has No Trouble Against St. Joseph Central

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chesapeake, Green was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the St. Joseph Central Flyers. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Flyers: they've now won five in a row.

Green walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-19.

Emma Brown paced Green's offense, picking up ten kills. Brown got some help from Peyton Neal and her 18 assists. Aliya Bradley controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-9. As for St. Joseph Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coincidentally, Green and St. Joseph Central will both be playing Notre Dame the next time they take the court. The Flyers will head out to face the Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Bobcats will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
