It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sammamish can now relate to. They lost to the Inglemoor Vikings at home by a 85-66 margin on Saturday. The match was a 36-36 toss-up at halftime, but the RedHawks couldn't quite close it out.

Inglemoor got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabe Schutt out in front who went 8 of 10 on his way to 23 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds. That's the most boards Schutt has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Aman Sterling, who went 7 for 14 en route to 22 points and six assists.

This is the second loss in a row for Sammamish and nudges their season record down to 12-10. As for Inglemoor, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.
