Soccer Recap: Alexander Takes a Loss

Alexander was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the United Longhorns. Alexander were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced United earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Alexander's goal came courtesy of Jayden Pliego, which was the first he's scored this season.

Alexander's loss dropped their record down to 15-10-1. As for United, their win bumped their record up to 14-10-1.

Alexander didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-1 victory against Clemens on the 13th. United does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
