Volleyball Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short

Whitewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Dodgeland Trojans. If the Whippets were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Trojans when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sydney Schilt paced Whitewater's offense, picking up five kills. Schilt got some help from Mya Graves-Koran and her seven assists. Schilt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Dodgeland, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Coming up, Whitewater will host Delavan-Darien at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dodgeland, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Randolph on the 20th.
