Baseball Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Deerfield Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Choate Rosemary Hall School, Deerfield Academy was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Phillips Exeter Academy Lions as they made off with a 6-0 win. Considering the Big Green have won three matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Deerfield Academy pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Phillips Exeter Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Deerfield Academy beat the Lions by a score of 16-1 later that day.
