Basketball Recap: Windward's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Windward managed to keep up with Chaminade until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wildcats came up short against the Eagles, falling 63-43. While the Wildcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 15-11 in the first quarter.

Chaminade got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brycen Butler out in front who shot 50% from the field to rack up 18 points and six rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Butler now owns an excellent 43.3% three-point shooting accuracy. Anthony Magee was another key player, going 6-for-15 en route to 13 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Windward fell to 3-1. As for Chaminade, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Looking ahead, Windward will take on Long Beach Poly at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chaminade, they will host Shalhevet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
