Baseball Game Preview: Lakewood Tigers vs. Arvada West Wildcats

For the second straight game, Lakewood will face off against Arvada West. The Tigers will challenge the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakewood has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with three straight defeats, while Arvada West will come in with five straight wins.

Arvada West hit Lakewood with a four-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers lost 10-4 to the Wildcats.

For Arvada West's part, they got a great performance from Kolten DeGroot as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. DeGroot has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
