Basketball Recap: Boardman Comes Up Short

Boardman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 29-23 heartbreaker at the hands of the Roosevelt Rough Riders. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Boardman's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Roosevelt, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

Boardman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roosevelt, they will take on Howland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
