Softball Recap: Redmond's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bend, Redmond was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Summit Storm 12-6. The win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Redmond's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6-1 and their overall record up to 4-10-1. As for Summit, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10-1 record this season.

Redmond will host Caldera at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Redmond's pitchers better be ready for this one: Caldera has averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season. As for Summit, they will venture away from home to square off against Bend at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
