Middleton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 5-0 to the Fayette Ware Wildcats on Monday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Coming up, Middleton is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will challenge Liberty Tech Magnet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
