Baseball Recap: Rogers Comes Up Short

If Rogers was feeling good fresh off their 9-2 takedown of Waite on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams came up short against the Bowsher BlueRacers on Wednesday, falling 19-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the BlueRacers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 on April 7th.

Rogers saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Hendrick, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Rogers has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Bowsher, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rogers will head out to take on Scott at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bowsher, they will venture away from home to challenge Southview at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
