Baseball Recap: St. John Falls to Metrolina Christian Academy in First Game of Season

St. John kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors, falling 16-1.

St. John saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Hejduk, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

The victory keeps Metrolina Christian Academy at an undefeated 15-0.

St. John didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-5 win against Harbor Creek on the 29th. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, they have also already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against Marvin Ridge on the 1st.
