Football Recap: Plainfield Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Plainfield Central extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 2-7. They were beaten by the Plainfield East Bengals 53-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered against the Bengals since September 28, 2019.

As for Plainfield East, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

David Croom had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 180 yards and three TDs on only 14 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another player making a difference was Brady Cloherty, who threw for 147 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.

As of now, neither Plainfield Central nor Plainfield East have any future games scheduled.
