Volleyball Recap: Kelvyn Park Gets the Win

Kelvyn Park won the last time they faced Spry Community Links and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Spry Community Links.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Kelvyn Park who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 22-25, 25-14.

Kelvyn Park's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Spry Community Links, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kelvyn Park will head out to take on Raby at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Spry Community Links, they will venture away from home to face off against Manley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
