Softball Recap: Cumberland Gap Takes a Loss

Cumberland Gap was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Anderson County Mavericks, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Cumberland Gap's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Anderson County, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 13-7.

Looking ahead, Cumberland Gap will face off against Scott at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anderson County, they will head out to challenge Grainger at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
