Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Dyamond Anderson and Kimora Myles Lead Bowen to Victory

There's no place like home for Bowen, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They strolled past the Baker Bobcats with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 33-17. That's more bragging rights for the Boilermakers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Bowen to victory were Kimora Myles and Dyamond Anderson. Myles posted 20 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals, while Anderson put up six points along with 14 rebounds and four blocks. Bowen is 7-1 when Myles posts five or more steals, but 1-2 otherwise. Alexis Gore was another key player, putting up two points and nine boards.

Bowen's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Baker, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Bowen will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Longwood at 5:00 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Baker, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hansberry at 5:30 p.m.
