Brandeis waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Madison Mavericks. The Broncos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mavericks, too.

Brandeis saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chrystian Ramirez, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Brandeis' victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Madison, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12-1 record this season.

Brandeis will have a chance to go back-to-back against Madison: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.
